This week I bring you a ravishing redhead who just celebrated her 30th birthday over the weekend. That is right I am talking about the very beautiful Maria Kanellis. Hard to believe she finished 5th in the 2004 Diva Search but she had stiff competition in the winner of the contest Christy Hemme. Since then she had a nice little run in the WWE but has moved on to others goals. She recently has shown up in Ring Of Honor with real life boyfriend Mike Bennett. Who I must say is a very lucky man but now we all get to be a little lucky and enjoy some very sexy pics of her.

Talking Smack 2/21/12 The Super Duper Live Edition

Welcome back to a very special edition of Talking Smack as it is the Super Duper Live Edition. Looking back at last nights live Smackdown. What can I say about the show as a whole but not very Super Duper. Maybe it is just me but when Smackdown goes live on a Tuesday the show should be more then just a normal week. Now sure there was good things but besides a Champion Vs. Champion match what was so special about that show? I'll still give it a pass but next time WOW me WWE. Now lets take a deeper look at the show.

I loved the opening with Daniel Bryan and The Miz until Sheamus came out just to set up an open match with Miz. Miz talking about how much he did to get Bryan where he was was pretty funny. Never would have thought that I would see Miz giving praise to him. Of course they had to ruin the start with a meaning less match that did nothing for anyone involved.

Who thought a R-Truth and Kofi Kingston tag team was a good idea? There to different to be paired but now they have to tag matches under the belt. I don't get why they beat the tag champs on Raw just to lose to Swagger and Ziggler on Smackdown thou. Not that I don't like Swagger and Ziggler as a team just would have made since to have a title match against Epico and Primo since they beat them in a non title match. Oh well I guess we just have to see if Little Boom stays together as a team or if they go in another direction.

Lucky for us we got another Mark Henry/Big Show match. Oh wait no that doesn't make us lucky at all. Nice they had a finish to the match as well. Oh wait again they didn't. Well at least Cody Rhodes came out during and made fun of the Big Show but then again that makes you believe we will be getting that match at Mania. What a treat for Cody to be put in a match with such a shitty opponent. Hopefully they at least have him go over Show.

Speaking of shit thanks WWE for the rematch between Ezekiel Jackson and David Otunga.

Lets just move on to the main event. I really enjoyed the wrestling in this match but it was not as good as there first match a few weeks ago on Raw. Sure it was better then most matches but I still expected them to out do themselves. The match was mostly used to build the story line feud between Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis about who should become General Manager of both shows. Not sure where the feud is going but you would assume some match or matches at Mania. Here is hoping for the end of Laurinaitis as an on screen personality.

Talking Smack 2/17/12 Random Thoughts Edition

First off I just want to wish "The Original" Dan Phelps a very Happy Birthday a few hours late. Now onto the go home edition of Smackdown. Overall it was a nice show but lacking the going into a Pay-Per-View show. Just seemed like they were holding back but hopefully that means they go all out on Sunday and then the live Super Smackdown on Tuesday. Now it is just some random thought from the show.

First off why does Randy Orton always walk around in his gear and one of his t shirts? You never seem him in regular clothes and what made it weird last night was that he wasn't cleared to wrestle. Oh well if he wants to walk around like that all the time it is his business.

I hate when they put big guys in the chamber matches because then they never lose towards the build to the show. So now you have Big Show and Great Khali looking strong and Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes look weak and like filler. With as strong as they built Big Show last night I hope they use him to put over one of the heels big. Hopefully either Daniel Bryan or Cody Rhodes.

I don't know about you but I am so tired of seeing Ted Dibiase against Hunico. Then you had Ezekiel Jackson tapping out to Jindar Mahal but I thought Jackson was suppose to get another push. Not off to a good start if you are tapping to Mahal. Finally on the lower card guys why are they still not doing anything with Drew McIntyre? He is so talented and could be a quality mid carder if not a main event player.

Who thought it was a good idea to have Natalya's gimmick be that she farts? I thought that was bad enough but now they have her farting in matches. What kind of idiots work for WWE creative? Really wish they would show case the talent in the Divas division and not had them be a giant joke.

I did enjoy the Daniel Bryan's promo and then his match with Sheamus. I liked how they pushed his heel character in the promo and then do what ever he could do to get Sheamus to snap. Just wish they would give him a pin fall or submission win now and again. Hope he goes into WrestleMania as champ so his in a "Main Event".

Finally randomness is why in the blue hell did Santino get the last spot in the Elimination Chamber spot? As much as I know he has no shot of winning I'm worried why they put him in the match in the first place. Someone tell me they wont do something that makes another wrestler look stupid against Santino. I'd be fine if he pinned Big Show or Great Khali but if he eliminates anyone else or worse and wins the title I will be lost in what is going through the minds of Vince and his brain trust.

Classic On Honor February 2012 Part 1

I decided that since we don't do a lot of talk about Ring Of Honor that I would start putting up blogs every few weeks on what is going on in the company. I will give my opinion on what is going on in the company good or bad and thoughts on where maybe they should go. This week I have thoughts on two current story lines that I'm not to fond of.

The first story line we will look at is the one between Ring Of Honor World Champion Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kyle O'Reilly, and Adam Cole. Before I get into what I don't like let me say if you didn't watch last weeks ROH episode then you should because there is a great match between Eddie and Kyle. Also I would like to say that I consider Davey and Eddie two of the best pure wrestlers going today and Kyle and Adam are two young up and comers. However with that said I am not a fan of this whole feud, Basically it is about Kyle trying to prove he is a better friend to Davey then Eddie is. I know there is more to it but that is how it breaks down. Besides the stupid thing the feud is based on I also have to call out each men for a lack of promo skills and a lack of any personality besides being whiny bitches. All Davey, Eddie, and Adam do is bitch and moan about who did what and who did this. It really has gotten old fast and boring do to a lack of charisma. I don't know how to fix this since you can't teach personality but the best advise I have is just end this feud as soon as possible.

The second and final thing I want to look at is the feud between Kevin Steen and Jim Cornette. This is your basic wrestler against figure head feud. You will never get a match but that is a good thing since who wants to see Jim wrestler? My problem comes from how Cornette goes after Steen. He will come him a big mouth and a bully and I have no problem with that it is when he says he should hit the gym or stop worker his supper muscle and work harder. Now it would be fine in away if Cornette was the heel but he is the face and his attacking the best all around wrestler they have in the company about not being a gym rat. I can see this crap in WWE or TNA but ROH is suppose to be better then them and about the wrestling in the ring and not a beauty contest. Unless the plan is for the heel face role is suppose to change between the two there is no point for the attacks on the weight. So my advise to ROH is to be what you say you are and don't push how the guy is fat and not attractive and just push how there is no one in that company who compares to him when you take his in ring ability and throw in the promo skills. Shine a light on your brightest star not take shots at him as if you were a Michael Cole want to be.

Those are just my thoughts and I know not everyone will agree but that is what makes wrestling talk fun. Like I said I will do more ROH talk probably on a bi monthly basis so expect another look at the company at the end of the month.

Chamber of Injustice

As you all know Sheamus is our Royal Rumble winner for 2012 and will going to WrestleMania to face the champion of his choosing. Over the next month we will see Sheamus compete in matches that are of no consequence, much like Alberto Del Rio did last year. It almost becomes a chore for the writers to keep the Royal Rumble winner relevant until we reach the final leg of the Road to WrestleMania. With this the winner has a cake walk of a schedule till WrestleMania. I don't fault him with this, but what about the champion?

The champion more often than not has to compete in a grueling match in side a cage in which he has a one in six chance of coming out of the PPV still champion. The champion has done nothing to deserve this and he most certainly doesn't deserve to have to go through all of this just for his chance to main event at WrestleMania. Logically it doesn't make sense and apparently from the writing side it doesn't make sense. I have a proposal that involves two changes to how WWE handles the Royal Rumble winner and their Champions.

First part of the proposal is that you move the Elimination Chamber event to July. That would replace the Money in the Bank PPV, which is already expected to be dropped. There will only be one Elimination Chamber match at the winner of that match would just like Royal Rumble would have their choice in which champion they face at SummerSlam. It would make Elimination Chamber more meaningful by having just one match.

The last part is a little different and I am sure won't be for everyone. The main event for the February PPV would be a triple threat match involving the Royal Rumble winner and the two reigning champions. This match is designed so that the Royal Rumble winner gets his main event at WrestleMania and it breaks down like this:

If the Royal Rumble winner wins, we will face the champion that he got the deciding fall over at WrestleMania and he goes into WrestleMania as the champion.

If one of the champions gets the deciding fall, they would have the decision of facing the Royal Rumble winner, the known quantity or they, much like on "Let's Make a Deal", could decide to choose to face whoever is behind box number two.

If the champion chooses box number two, then the Royal Rumble winner would face the other champion at WrestleMania.

I know that by doing this, you slightly give a little preview to WrestleMania, but I think that overall positives from both events and storyline aspects cancel out any negatives. At the least, the champion doesn't receive a treatment that is more suiting for a chump.

This week I have chosen Danielle Moinet a 28 year old model and former Lingerie Football League player. Signed to a developmental deal by the WWE last year she debut in Florida Championship Wrestling in November as Summer Rae. Enough about her now its time to take a look.

Talking Smack 2/10/12 Elimination Chamber Participants Edition

Back after missing a weeks edition of Talking Smack to look at the 12 men who will participate in the 2012 Elimination Chamber matches. Definitely a unique group but as you will find out unique doesn't always mean good.

Raw Elimination Chamber Participants
1) CM Punk - The WWE Champion is on a roll and on his way to taking part in the title match at WrestleMania 28. The only question is does he go in as champ or challenger? As of this moment at 11:57 pm my gut tells me challenger. I just think the best way to set up the title match at Mania is for him to lose and go in chasing it. I'll get to who I thinks wins the match when I get to the man down the list.

2) The Miz - Things haven't been going his way for awhile now and after Raw this week things may get worse before they get better. There are to many good things there just for WWE to throw it away now but for at least the Chamber match I see him as a none factor and probably the first one eliminated from the match.

3) R-Truth - The guy who might get the best showing outside of Punk only because he was part of an accident from Raw. Now I'm not saying he shouldn't get a good showing I'm just saying it shouldn't happen because of an accident. To me he is the weakest of the six men and should not be a main event character if you are going with the crazy face gimmick. Now if he was a heel I'd have no problem him being there but as a face it is just comedy not quality.

4) Dolph Ziggler - Punk is the only man who have put on a better show over the past few months but my gut says that will not help him in this match. The only way he comes off on top in this match is if they go in a totally different direction then what they have been building for and I can't see that happening now. The soonest we see the Show Off in a main event at Mania is next year at WrestleMania 29.

5) Kofi Kingston - If it wasn't for the Cena/Kane feud Kofi would be no where near this match. I'm a fan of this guy and think he could be a fine to good main event baby face but they need to build him there. Not that I think they are trying to make him one this second but they could have built him a little before putting him in this match. We all know he has less then no chance of winning unless he becomes work out buddies with Triple H in the next week.

6) Chris Jericho - Everyone has there own thoughts on how his return has gone. Love it or hate it he will be in the WWE Championship main event at Mania. Which is cool with me because him and Punk will have an epic match and the promos back and forth will be worth watching for 6 weeks. I really think he will come out of Chamber with the championship to set up a rematch for Punk at Mania.

Smackdown Elimination Chamber Participants
1) Daniel Bryan - First off he is the best pure wrestler in the company. Second I like some of the things they have done to turn him heel but not all. I don't like how they have made him the typical coward heel but at least he tries to get out of things better then most heels they make a coward. I hope he makes it out with the title but I'm no where near 100% thinking he will. If he does make it to the World Championship match at Mania I think it will be a three way but I have been wrong plenty of times in the past.

2) Randy Orton - I think he and Barrett would be the only two real choices to have win if Bryan is to fall short. The only question is would they go with a face vs. face match with Orton and Sheamus? This is also were I could see the 3 way comes about. Bryan loses to Orton and Sheamus picks Orton only to have Bryan reveal he has the guarantee rematch at Mania which makes Teddy Long make it a 3 way.

3) Wade Barrett - Like I said he has the best odds with Orton of winning the title. I don't mind either because he has come a long way in the past few months. Plus with the matches they are setting up for you could have a weaker World Championship match with him and Sheamus and maybe even throw in Bryan for a three way match.

4) Cody Rhodes - As much as I would love for him to win I don't see him having much of a chance unless he goes the same route I said Kofi would have to go down.

5) The Great Khali - I think Dan made a good point to me saying he could see him winning so Sheamus can beat someone his size and they make a really big deal out of it. I just hope he doesn't win and really wish they wouldn't have brought him back in the first place. Khali brings nothing to the table but his size and does that even mean anything?

6) The Big Show - The sad thing is his a bigger waste of space then Khali. Show has nothing left as a full time wrestlers. His appeal was lost years ago and should be an attraction not a main event guy week after week. His lame as a face and the whole knock out punch is even lamer and don't get me started on how weak his spear looks. The man is past his prime and should be use like they have use him at Mania as an attraction against another oddity. Not wasting the time of talented workers like the first four names in the match.

Ah the internet. It is a wonderful place where people from all walks of life can get together and share knowledge, become friends and generally make the world a better, closer place. This was in fact the dream when the internet was made public, and then came Yahoo Answers. With one click of a Yahoo staffers mouse, the world became dumber, and nowhere is this more apparent than in the wrestling section. I have tried to call these people out and make them wake up on their home turf, but I now know that that is a losing effort, so instead, I will just make fun of them here.

I Would Say:

1. D-Generation X (also known and spelled as Degeneration X, DX and D-X) was a professional wrestling stable in WWE (previously the World Wrestling Federation and World Wrestling Entertainment). The group originated in the midst of the WWF's "Attitude Era" from 1997 to 2000. Their gimmick was that of a gang of rebels who acted and spoke as they pleased, no matter how provocative

After its original run with members Rick Rude, Chyna, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, the group expanded to become a mainstay of the Attitude Era with new additions X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws and Tori until it disbanded in August 2000. After a teased reunion in 2002, DX reformed in June 2006 as the duo of Triple H and Shawn Michaels for the remainder of the year and again in August 2009 until March 2010, shortly before Michaels' retirement. They reunited at the 2010 Tribute to the Troops for one night only.

2. Rated-RKO was a villainous professional wrestling tag team in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) based on the Raw brand. The team consisted of Edge, Randy Orton, and Lita, their valet. The name "Rated-RKO" contains part of Edge's nickname, "The Rated R Superstar,"[1] and Orton's initials/finishing maneuver, RKO.[2]

Edge and Orton formed an alliance in October 2006 to challenge the team of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, collectively known as D-Generation X (DX), who Rated-RKO felt were preventing them from becoming world champions. Rated-RKO would succeed in defeating DX, giving the latter their first loss since their reunion in June 2006. The following month, Edge and Orton became World Tag Team Champions, and Lita left the group after her legitimate retirement.

Evolution slowly began dissolving in 2004. The group turned on Orton the night following SummerSlam, when he won the World Heavyweight Championship and kicked him out. ... and this is the problem with a typical internet wrestling fan. If they aren't complaining about WWE being PG, they are begging for Cena to retire or turn heel. I know you don't like him, I get that, but guess what, you aren't SUPPOSED to like him. Cena is for the kids and the women and as long as he sells the most merch and gets the buy rates, he is not going anywhere, nor should he for that matter. I meant to do this in early January but I kept putting it off so what better time then now. This isn't anything special just a look at the ratings for Raw from last year so unless you are a dork like me and pay attention to those numbers you probably wont care. If you are into that stuff you can really find a pattern of when things are hot for the show and when things are just down. It wont be every rating just the top 10 and bottom 10 along with the average for each month. Also for everyone who likes this I will be putting up a Smackdown and Impact Wrestling one in the next few days. So for all my fellow rating dorks enjoy.

This was a pleasant surprise because I didn't go in with high hopes for this match but they pulled out something fun. It was a classic big man against small man of power versus speed. Sure there wasn't a clean finish but it was a well done finish.

6) James Storm Vs. Kurt Angle
#1 Contenders Match For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship

There second best match from over the past few months and the bonus of it being on free television. They work really well together but then again who doesn't work well with Angle. The biggest question after the match is whats next for Angle but hopefully sometime away and then a return in a few months for another good feud with someone new.

X- Division Championship Four Way Elimination Match

This is the kind of match the X-Division was built on. A mixture of seasoned veterans and some younger up and comers who go out and leave everything out there. The new guys they have brought in for the division in the summer really have put the division back on the map. I just hope they continue with the focus and get it back to the point were it can main event pay-per-views.

4) Cody Rhodes Vs. Booker T

The best of there three matches from the past month. Cody really have come into his own as a top level performer in the ring and on the mic. It was nice seeing Booker still has something left in the ring. Hopefully they don't over use him and when he does wrestle put over younger guys who can use the rub from him.

3) Randy Orton Vs. Dolph Ziggler

Not a feud but they have had a lot of matches of the past few months. This wasn't there best match but out shined all but 2 matches for the month from everyone else. My only problem is Orton has won most of there battles and it would have been nice after his WWE Championship loss the night before if they would have gave Dolph a big win.

This was a fun feud to watch with the matches they had because they always gave us a show with this match being the best. They could have done a better job of building around the two and not having others involved but at least we got quality. Dolph is at the door about to break in to the best of the best in the company.

Hands down the best match of the month. Even without a finish this match outshines every other one. For a wrestling dork like me this was a awesome thing to see in WWE that you never expected until a few weeks ago. Quick Royal Rumble Predictions

We are just 8 hours away from the 25th annual Royal Rumble and the whole Shooting From The Hip crew will be there in attendance. I'm like a kid on Christmas so I hope the show is a great one. Now on to my predictions.

Kane over John Cena by DQ unless the match is changed to a Street Fight or No Holds Barred match or something along those lines. If it is changed to a match with no rules then I would say Cena goes over.

Daniel Bryan escapes the cage to retain the World Championship over Big Show and Mark Henry.

CM Punk survives his match with Dolph Ziggler and retains the WWE Championship.

Chris Jericho draws number 19 in the Rumble and cashes in his ticket to a title match at WrestleMania. Even if Jericho isn't the man I say who ever draws 19 wins it all this year. So hopefully he is 19 and a get a bonus on my prediction.

We are less then 48 hours away from the Royal Rumble and the excitement is building. I'm ready because I will be there live for my first Royal Rumble in person. I figured it was a good time to give the odds for all the Superstars who may or may not be in it since we really only know a handful of participants. Don't worry it wont be a long read so don't be scared to take a look.

The first group of guys was will look at are the men they really have no need to show up because if they are in they have no chance of winning and if they did it would be a huge joke and a waste of time.

Our next group of guys really don't have a shot either but wore things could happen if they won it. However lets face it they are just filler to make sure there are 30 guys in the match.

- Hunico - Jack Swagger - Jimmy or Jey Uso - Justin Gabriel - Kane - R-Truth -

The third group of guys have a shot. It could be a long shot but they definitely bring more to the table then the first to group of Superstars.
- Alberto Del Rio - I know he is out but if he would make his return he wouldn't be the first to win back to back Rumbles.
- Christian - Another guy who has been out but who wouldn't be surprised if he returns on Sunday and with what he did last year I could see him having a better then average chance if they wanted to shock us.
- The Miz - I wouldn't have put him so high before Monday but with being the number one guy in it I could see him being the fifth man to be 1 or 2 and win the whole thing.
- Cody Rhodes - His a star on the rise and why not shock us with the second man to be Intercontinental Champion and win the World title at WrestleMania.
- John Cena - I don't see why he would win but I could see the WWE doing it.
- Dolph Ziggler - I don't see him winning the World Championship so why not pull double duty and try to steal the show.
- Daniel Bryan - I could see him losing the title and then entering to try and win a chance to get back what is his. Hopefully he doesn't lose his title but anything is possible.

Now on to the five names who have the best chance of taking it home and lets face it more then likely will. This time unlike the other times before I will put them in the order of what chance I think they have of winning from worse to best chance.
- Sheamus - I could see the Celtic Warrior dominating and getting the Mania spot but he has the worse chance of the final five.
- CM Punk - I don't see him losing his WWE Championship but if he did I could see them putting him right back in place to win it back on the grandest stage of them all.
- Wade Barrett - His on the hottest streak of anyone I would say and is ready for a top spot. However I don't know if they would go the same route as last year and have a heel scream he will win and then do it.
- Randy Orton - He has the best chance of the Smackdown names but I still lean towards my number one guy right now. Plus I don't think he should win another Rumble yet.
- Chris Jericho - He wouldn't have returned if it wasn't going to be in a big spot at Mania and what bigger spot then winning the Rumble and getting the title shot. From everything that is out there you have to expect we will see Punk against Jericho at WrestleMania so the only question is will the WWE Championship be on the line?

She is best known as Inferno for her work on the British version of American Gladiators known as Gladiators. She was also briefly signed to a WWE developmental deal but was released after not being able to get a work visa. Now that you know her back story it is time to see the pics.

Talking Smack Sin City Smackdown Edition

Last night the Raw Roulette wheel made its way to Smackdown to spice up there Friday night show. With it they brought some good and also it share of bad. Overall I enjoyed the show but I will break down things a little further in this weeks Talking Smack.

- I really enjoy the Daniel Bryan turn. It has added something to him but they haven't gone so far were if it hits a bump in the road they can always go back to the baby face version of his character.

- The Cody Rhodes/Justin Gabriel match was a nice little match but would have loved to see more time for the two. I really don't know how far up the card Gabriel can go but I do see a mid card title in his future someday.

- Not sure where they are going with Mark Henry. I mean are they turning him face or what. It will be interesting to see what ends up of the Worlds Strongest Man.

- With Evan Bourne being suspended again it leaves two tag teams left in the company for now. However I like both Primo and Epico and Jimmy and Jey Uso. Not sure how big they can become thou since WWE isn't in the making of great tag teams anymore.

- I really enjoy Brodus Clay so far as the funk master but not sure how soon I may get tired of it but so far I really like it. Also the dance off segment made me ready to see William Regal have another run as and in ring competitor. I know he has something left so use it to help younger talent.

- The tables match between Sheamus and Wade Barrett was my favorite match of the night. Nothing fancy just to big bulls with big hit after big hit. I didn't like that Jinder Mahal got involved but that is probably because I don't care for him.

- I'm shocked that we got a flag match in 2012. That gimmick should be dead in my book.

- I hate the Drew McIntyre story line because it hasn't gone anywhere in a month. Maybe if it would lead to Drew going on a roll and racking up wins I would like it but there taking to long. I guess the bright side is at least his back on television.

- I liked how they did they main event up until when the lumber jacks attack but it was a way to get out of the match with out having a winner and setting up the triple threat at Rumble. I knew it was going to happen so I'm not to shocked but I am shocked it is a cage match. Hopefully Bryan walks out as champ and they continue the cocky heel turn.

This week we have Naomi from season 3 of NXT and currently one of the dancers with Brodus Clay. Not everyone is a fan of the Funkasaurus gimmick but you have to be a fan of her work with him. You have to admit she has the moves.

Talking Smack 9 Hours Of Wrestling In 6 Days Edition

End of the week so it is time to talk some Smackdown. Oh wait there is more you get this week. I wanted to put stuff up earlier in the week so now you get a 4 for 1 bonus. Not only will I give my take on Smackdown but also my thoughts on Genesis, Raw Super Show, and Impact Wrestling. I guess it is only a treat if you like my thoughts but oh well you get them no matter what.

TNA Genesis
The big winners for me was the X-Division four way elimination match for the championship and the Monsters Ball match. The four way was everything you expect from the X-Division with great spots and guys working there ass off to prove why there more then a mid card title. Aries is caring that division back to where it once was and Ion and Sorensen or great young talent with a bright future. Then you had a fun brawl between Bully Ray and Abyss. They used everything they could as a weapon and really took it up a notch. I don't think that high of Abyss but in a brawl there might not be anyone else better in the business. Ray on the other hand I think is a great talent who should be more of a focus on and I could see huge things for him in 2012.

What I will complain about is the ending of the Mickie James/Gail Kim Knockouts Championship match and the World title match between Robert Roode and Jeff Hardy. Now I know your not going to have the heel champ go over cleanly every time they defend there title but when all you do is come up with ways for them to get by with out winning no body gains anything but the face who is over no matter what. How does it hurt Mickie or Jeff to lose to the champ cleanly but because it took everything from the heel. It wont mean anything if Roode does not start getting some clean wins against guys that matter.

WWE Raw Super Show
The only thing that I loved about this show was the Funkasauras Brodus Clay. Now I know some hate it or think it is stupid but I thought it was different and could be a good thing in the long run of his career. What is the big deal if he shows up and he is just your everyday monster? Nothing is the right answer now he can prove there is more to him then just his size and if it doesn't work out then you can always go the monster route.

Pretty much everything else on Raw was a bore and not worth watching. I don't blame them phoning things in with the BCS Championship going on but you could have gave us a little more. Hopefully this week is more of a show then this one.

Impact Wrestling
Not a lot of matches but they had some good matches and advanced some story lines. Both things equal a good week but there is always room for improvement.

Again the biggest complaint is the ending of the World title match but it is leading some where good hopefully. Also I don't care for the Bischoff's story line at all. I have seen enough or Eric in my life and Garrett needs more time before he is a weekly face on television.

Smackdown
Nice show with some good matches. The build to Rumble has been a good one and I liked the way they played out the World Championship match. Even without a finish I like what we got. Hopefully before it is over Bryan gets a true win over Big Show.

I'm not a fan of Jinder Mahal so when his on things suck to me. Another guy who needs work on there character is Ted Dibiase. I'm not sold on him being a face but at least he is a better worker in the ring then Mahal.

Ten Things that Brodus Clay's Redebut Was Better Than

There has been quite a bit of backlash regarding the redebut of Brodus Clay. Unexpectidly he came back not as a monster heel, but rather a throw back to the early 80's and came out to a funkadelic theme. He danced with two "fly" girls much like Rikishi used to do with Too Cool. People on the internets have howl their dislike for Brodus's new character saying that the WWE has ruined him already, that he's a big joke and that he must being punished for something. I for one disagree them and believe that this might have been the best thing I have seen in wrestling since CM Punk left the WWE with the title. Tonight was the first Smackdown of 2012. We got two championship matches to start off the year. I enjoyed both on different levels. Over all it was a good show and a good way to kick off the new year. Watching the show I have come up with some questions for us all to think about and discuss.

What can keep Cody from becoming a main event performer this year?

Was it just me or did Booker T look like he still had a few matches in him before he hangs it up for good?

Does anybody really want to see Cody against Dustin at this stage in Dustin's career?

Will Michael Cole ever shut up? Why must he bury talent show after show? How will that help make any new stars?

How does Santino still have a job? Come on people is he really that funny to you?

Is the Drew McIntyre one more chance story line going to lead to a push again? Or will it lead to them wishing Drew the best in his future endeavors?

Will D-Bag Daniel Bryan get over as a heel? How do you like it so far? For the record I'm not sure yet but it has made me laugh at times.

Why must Hornswoggle be used in a wrestling role at times?

Who has a job longer? Ted Dibiase or Jinder Mahal?

Has Hunico grown on anyone else but me?

Who else thinks Barrett has stepped up big time since beginning the feud with Orton?

Will anybody really be that shocked when Orton is a surprise participant in the Royal Rumble?

When the month changes its time for my choices for matches of the month. Usually December is a slow month for wrestling but we do have a nice selection to choose from. We are very pay-per-view heavy this month but we had two really good pay-per-views so that isn't to shocking. Now onto the list.

Not much to say here but to of the best female workers going and by far the best woman's match I saw all year.

6) Zack Ryder Vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph has proved over the past year he is one of the best workers going today. He can do it in the ring and with a promo. He is one of my favorites to watch as well. Ryder has shown he could entertain and at TLC he proved he can go in the ring as well. The real challenge for Ryder will we be when he has to carry a match with a lesser wrestler but until then he deserves his props.

5) Cody Rhodes Vs. Daniel Bryan

Another match with not much to say but these two always put on a show with how good they are.

This match is different from the rest on the list because this one used some comedy to make it fun. They played off each other well and did some great back and forth heel stuff to make the comedy part of the match. Aries is by far the MVP of TNA since returning in the summer.

This match was great and might have cracked the top 2 if it wasn't how it ended. It was still good enough to be 3 but I know with a proper ending it would have been better. Roode is really showing he can be a World Champion and carry a company.

Angle is still the best pure wrestler in the game today and Storm is just coming into his own as a singles face. They have had a fun back and forth feud and Angle is doing a great job of making Storm look like a top notch main event guy. Hopefully when Storm moves on he still looks like a star.

If you don't believe Punk is the man then just watch this match. He put on a great show as did Del Rio and Miz. I'm still not sold on Del Rio as a guy who could carry a match or the company but he does has his positives. Miz could be the man and hope he gets a shot again at some point. Punk is the all around best performer going right now and no one is close at the moment.

15 Things Classic Would Like To See In 2012 In Wrestling

This will be what I ask the Wrestling Gods to bring us in the New Year's. It could from as small as giving someone a well deserved push to a a major change that will shack the foundation of the wrestling world. I don't expect these things to come true but if they do I will have a fun year watching wrestling.

1) Use Daniel Bryan to the best of his abilities and one of those is his promo ability and don't look passed it. Also don't make him the next Rey Mysterio and have him be the underdog champion who just gets lucky when he retains if he retains his championship.

2) Unify the WWE and World Championship. You can only have one top dog.

3) However no matter how many major titles you have keep them off Randy Orton and John Cena. Have them in meaning full matches but they can go a year without holding titles and people will still care about them.

4) Have someone not named Cena or Orton hold the WWE or World title for more then half there year to make them and the belt seem as important as they once did.

5) TNA push the home grown talent and guys who didn't make a huge name for themselves in WWE over names like Hogan, Flair, Hardy, and RVD.

6) TNA make strides in catching up to WWE. I know they can't get real close but make a solid effort to become more then a joke for Internet writers and fans.

7) Internet fans stop demanding WWE go back to the Attitude Era. It was great when it happen but you can recreate magic. If they want something different demand a change to something new not something old.

8) For WWE to make a harder effort of great story lines besides just around WrestleMania.

9) For TNA not to promise some huge change that ends up being a dud.

10) For Ring Of Honor to take the next step and do real Pay-Per-Views that are live. Nothing wrong with Internet Pay-Per-Views but there is a different feel for the worse to me.

11) I would like to see Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and Eric Young to get main event pushes.

12) I would like to see Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre get back on track and seen as major players in there company.

13) For tag team wrestling to matter again in WWE and TNA.

14) Hope to see Chris Hero get a job with WWE if not there with TNA.

15) Finally I know this wont happen but I can dream and that is John Cena and the Miz get the respect they deserve from Internet fans and the realize they can wrestle.

Just a real quick review of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs from me today. The Ryder/Ziggler US title match and the 2 way TLC match for the WWE Championship were by far the best two matches of the night. The highlight of the night thou was when Daniel Bryan cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase and won the World Championship. For anyone who has watched him over his career it was a real treat. Also I want to give props to Air Boom and Epico and Primo for a fun tag team match. Finally there wasn't all good because Nash and Triple H was nothing special but I will say it did look as if they work hard to try and give the fans something. Another prop to Nash for going through a table but that doesn't make up for his sloppiness in the match. Over all a pretty good show and I would say check it out when you get a chance.

Talking Smack: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Prediction Edition

Tomorrow night live on pay-per-view WWE brings us there last pay-per-view of the year with TLC. So for this week edition of Talking Smack I will predict what I think will happen. Instead of going by importance like I usually do I'll go over the matches by which ones I think will be the best. So the ones at the beginning I think will be the lesser matches and the further down I get are the ones I think will be the best.

Before I get into the matches scheduled I would figured with only six matches set we would get at least a bonus match. The rumor out there is them adding a tag team championship match between Air Boom and Primo and Epico. If the match does take place I will say that Air Boom holds on to the titles at least one more show. Now onto what we now will happen.

Triple H Vs. Kevin Nash
Sledgehammer Ladder Match
I have no expectations for this match but I will say if anyone can bring a glimmer of hope out of Nash in the ring it's probably Hunter. Still the thought of the two of them in a ladder match just sounds sad at this stage in there career. Hopefully its not as pain full as I imagine.
Winner - Triple H

World Championship Match
Mark Henry Vs. Big Show
Chairs Match
I have more hope for this match then the first but that isn't saying much. Hopefully they get Henry back on track as a monster and takes it to Show and get the win. I would be shocked if Show wins and would have no clue were they would go if he won.
Winner - Mark Henry

Wade Barrett Vs. Randy Orton
Tables Match
This is where my expectations for the show goes up. They have had good matches over the past few months and I think that will continue Sunday night. Not sure who will get the upper hand in the feud but the way things have gone Barrett's way I would put my money on the Viper.
Winner - Randy Orton

Intercontinental Championship
Cody Rhodes Vs. Booker T
I think this has a chance of stealing the show with the two good wrestlers in it. It all depends on how well Booker works after being gone for sometime now. I have heard he has been working on house shows but I still worry he wont be the same guy we remember. This should be a match to shine the spot light on Cody which is what they should do.
Winner - Cody Rhodes

United States Championship
Dolph Ziggler Vs. Zack Ryder
They have been building to this show down for months and it finally will happen. I think it will be a coming out party for Ryder as an in ring worker and who better to work with then Ziggler. I see the title switch happening and Ziggler moving up the ranks with Ryder being the king of the mid carders on Raw.
Winner - Zack Ryder

WWE Championship
CM Punk Vs. Alberto Del Rio Vs. The Miz
TLC Match
The match that should tear down the house. Now you might not expect a crazy match with the three but I see a crazy all out effort with the three showing why they should be at the top of the company. I don't see Del Rio winning after being champ twice already in the fall but I could see Miz taking the title home. It is really a toss up for me right now but I will go with one and stick with it.
Winner - CM Punk

Final Resolution & Impact Wrestling Thoughts

I had the pleasure to watch Final Resolution on Sunday and I was saving my thoughts until after Impact to see how they followed up on there final pay-per-view of 2011. My main thought on the pay-per-view was it was a great show for wrestling but it did have its one major problem. Then as for as Impact I thought it was a fun show to watch but was nothing great. Now that I got my main thoughts out there I'll break things down a little further.

Rob Van Dam Vs. Christopher Daniels
This was one of the six matches I really liked but I don't understand the point of it. I think instead of feuding these two men should be facing younger guys to help them develop and get over. They shouldn't be in a meaning this feud against each other.

Robbie E Vs. Eric Young for the Television Championship
I wanted to like this match more but it just didn't flow well. I am a huge fan of Young and I think Robbie gets better with every match but there was just missing from making this something fun. Hopefully it is an end to the feud and they both move on to something entertaining.

Crimson & Matt Morgan Vs. Devon & The Pope for the Tag Team Championship
Not a fan of the tag champs as singles wrestlers and care less about them as a tag team but at least there not getting big push as singles wrestlers.

Austin Aries Vs. Kid Kash for the X-Division Championship
One of the top three matches of the night. Just a good back and forth with some nice comedy thrown in to make it different from the other top matches of the show.

Gail Kim Vs. Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship
I thought this was the best women's match of the year but I do think they have better in them and look forward to there next encounter.

James Storm Vs. Kurt Angle
Its what you would expect from an Angle match. Top notch match that is a must see. Storm played his part and did a great job to make something special.

Jeff Hardy Vs. Jeff Jarrett in a Cage Match
Nice little cage match with what you expect and Hardy taking a stupid dive and bump but they told a pretty good story.

Robert Roode Vs AJ Styles in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match for the World Championship
Another one of my favorites from the show. Just a great back and forth. Then they ruined everything with the draw and no winner. Which is bad but when you consider the name of the show was Final Resolution made it even dumber.

Impact Wrestling Thoughts
I hated how they had a five minute overtime for the World title. Now yes they should have finished the match but one it should have been on the pay-per-view and two it shouldn't have been five minutes it should have started as first fall to the finish.

Its sad that the tag division is so bad they have a thrown together tag team as the champions but now you have a tournament to decide the new number one contenders who are also thrown together tag teams. I will say the tag matches from the show was better then I expected and I really like the pairing of Samoa Joe and Magnus. I have a feeling that Magnus will get a nice push in 2012.

Finally I hate the idea of Jeff Hardy getting a title match unless its to put over Roode strong. If the thought is to put the title on Hardy they are wrong. He shouldn't be champ because it does nothing for the company to have him be. Do the right thing and keep the title on Roode.

Classic's Take December 15 2011

Yesterday I ask some questions for everyone to ponder and today I'll go back and give you my take on the answer. I will focus on the WWE questions only with the plan on being back tomorrow to talk about TNA and going over Final Resolution and tonight's Impact.

Question 1 - Did everyone else have a hard time making it threw the Slammy Award edition of Monday Night Raw Super Show as I did?

Maybe it is just me but every year it seems like the Slammy Award Raw gets worse and worse. This year you basically had 20 different best moment awards. They make more about the awards then the wrestling and that is kind of stupid when its your go home show for a pay-per-view. Maybe they didn't care because the rumor is they expect the lowest buy rate for any pay-per-view this year which is saying something since I believe Vengeance was suppose to be the second lowest buy rate in the history of the company.

Question 2 - Who do you see walking out of TLC as WWE Champions?

One week ago I thought Miz was walking out with the title to have Punk chase it but now I see Punk retaining and Miz winning the title shot at Royal Rumble. I think we might get a long or at least long for now title run from Punk. The earliest I see him dropping the title is Elimination Chamber but I really think his run goes into the spring.

Question 3 - Will Daniel Bryan make his dream come true and win the World Championship at WrestleMania 28?

The way they have booked him I would say yes but you never know with the WWE. Then when you consider its a guy like Daniel Bryan and you really can throw the norm out the window. I really hope they do it because it would be a great moment for him and people who have been fans of his for years. Even if he doesn't win I have hope he will be World Champ some day with how CM Punk went from being a guy on the roster to a go to guy on the roster.

Question 4 - Who will win the Royal Rumble this year?

I would say the names with the best shot are Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Randy Orton. Now if you like rumors then there is the talk of Punk defending the title against Chris Jericho so then you could throw his name in there as well. However for now I'll stick with my original pick and say Wade Barrett. By the way I also think the Rumble winner will pick the World Champion and we will see a three way for the title between champ, Bryan, and Rumble winner as long as the Rumble winner isn't Jericho.

Question 5 - Is Jericho the man behind the It Begins 2012 commercial? If not him who did you see it being?

I'm 97% sure it will be Jericho. If its not him my only guess would be Undertaker but it seems way to early for him to return. I see more of a surprise Rumble appearance for his return. I still think thou that it should be used for some coming up from FCW who has a dark character but I serious doubt that will happen.

Question 6 - How many people want to see Triple H and Undertaker face off again at WrestleMania?

Maybe it is just me but no matter how good the match ends up being I would like to see Undertaker face someone else this year. Who I'm not sure yet but it gave me a blog idea so next week at some point I will bring to you the 7 guys I would prefer to see Undertaker at WrestleMania over Triple H.

Talking Smack 12/9/11 Buy Or Sell Edition

First off as a whole I was a fan of the show last night. They had some good matches and did a good job in advancing story lines going into the final week before Tables Ladder and Chairs pay-per-view. Breaking down the show a little further I'll being doing something different this week and let you know what wrestlers to buy as things are looking up for them or sell for the guys who I'm just not sure what there spot will be over the next few weeks and months. Lets jumps in and I hope you all enjoy the read.

BUY
Wade Barrett - I still think he has a ways to go but compared to last year Barrett is coming along nicely. The past few weeks I think he has shown a lot and have given me hope that he could be a star down the road. His feud with Orton have been pretty good and I look forward to there tables match at TLC.

Zack Ryder - The company finally is given Ryder a chance and I think his doing a nice job. He makes the buy list because I see him winning the United States Championship at the pay-per-view.

David Otunga - Yes I know this is an odd name to buy but thinks are looking up for him in a push stand point being that the past two weeks his faces Randy Orton and Sheamus. Plus I will give him credit for looking better in the ring of late and showing improvement for the first time in a long time.

Sheamus - He has not been in a feud since Christian got injured and taking off television but that doesn't hurt the Great White. His come along nicely as a face and I see a World title feud to start off 2012 for him.

Daniel Bryan - Being on television and interviewed so how far he has come since the end of the summer and beginning of the fall. Hopefully they continue the build to his WrestleMania World Championship match.

Cody Rhodes & Dolph Ziggler - No I'm not judging them as a team I just feel both are in the same place and will grow together. It is only a matter of time before they are both pushed as main event heels in the company.

Randy Orton - His not going anywhere from the main event picture. Hopefully they just keep him away from the title and just use him to help to develop up and coming talent.

Sell
Ezekiel Jackson - His been on a downward spin since losing the Intercontinental championship to Rhodes. I don't think he has a place as a face and if he doesn't turn heel the only place you will see him is being future endeavored.

Heath Slater - Not much to say here besides the fact he is a glorified jobber. He has potential but I don't see them pushing him anytime soon.

Ted Dibiase - Yes they are pushing him but I don't see the whole face run working out for him. I like his look and his a good wrestler but the whole face run doesn't work for me.

Jinder Mahal - Besides having a nice look he has nothing going for him. He has a lot of work to put in before he turns the corner.

Big Show - I'm just not a fan anymore and haven't been in a long time. Another guy who I think needs to be a heel to get the best out of him as a face his a comedy character not a world champion contender.

Mark Henry - Since Big Show returned Henry has lost his edge and the monster feel he had going in the summer. Hope the rumors of him turning face are just rumors and they get him back on track as a monster.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly #23 Impact Wrestling 12/1/11 Edition

Looking back at Impact Wrestling last night I have the same thought as I do many Fridays after watching the show. Some nice wrestling when done but way to much filler to go with it. Not sure not all the filler was bad most of it was at least okay and help develop story lines but I'm left with wanting more wrestling. With that said lets jump in and I'll break the show down even further.

THE GOOD
First off I was a fan of the opening video of Booby Roode's family talking about how he has changed. Usually I'm a fan of bring in the family but I think it helps advance the new heel Roode character. Hopefully they don't go over board with it but a piece here or there is a good thing for now.
The matches last night were pretty solid. I really enjoyed the 3 way main event. There was some fun action and they gave Roode another big win. Sure it was due to Jeff Jarrett but he doesn't have to win cleanly since he is a heel. I also was a fan of the Street Fight between Mickie James and ODB. It reminded me of the old Knockouts when they were more about wrestling then calling each others strippers. It has me looking forward to Mickie and Gail Kim at the pay-per-view which if they are given time and allowed to go at there best they could steal the show. I will also give credit to the Robbie E against Rob Van Dam match. I thought it was a good enough match and did something for Robbie and with the ending helped advance the RVD and Christopher Daniels feud.

THE BAD
After talking about the good of the matches let me tell you what I didn't like about them. It all comes down to booking to matches to end in the same way. The Television match and the 3 way both had someone cause the heel to get the win with the ref not seeing. Once is okay but twice is just lazy. Which TNA does way to much. There are so many ways to end a match way use the basic same finish more then once in one night? So once again I plead with TNA to step up there game and don't be that lazy any more.
The other thing that was ugly is the whole Eric and Garrett Bischoff thing. First off I have a problem with Garrett being pushed so hard when who his dad is. Now maybe he will be great but right now he has shown me nothing to suggest he should be part of a weekly story line. Second no one who is family of someone with power should be pushed with out proven themselves first.

THE UGLY
Now as hot as it is to look at the Knockouts in bikini's I do not like the current story line. Karen pushing for them to be eye candy and then calls them whores is stupid. I don't get what the point is behind the whole thing. Are they tyring to say this is all there good for or are they saying there better then this and in the end they will get theirs on Karen. Hopefully this is a quick story and they get back to having them wrestle and not just washing cars in the parking lot.

Classic's Seven Best Matches Of November 2011

It's a new month which mean it's time for me to run down the seven matches that I thought were the best of the month. Another good crop to pick from with many choices coming from the three weekly shows. Lets start the countdown and see if you agree or disagree with me.

7) Dolph Ziggler Vs. John Morrison
US Championship Match
11/20/11 from Survivor Series
Not a shock that Dolph makes the list but he is a heavy part of this months top matches. Really the main thing here is it was said that it was Morrison's last big match for WWE. Who knows what his future hold but I hope to see him back in the ring soon. He still has a lot to offer to the wrestling world before it is all said and done.

6) Sheamus & Zack Ryder Vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger
11/25/11 from Smackdown
It's rear for a tag team match to make my list not involving Beer Money or the Motor City Machine Guns but it can happen and to prove it just look here. I really like what Ziggler and Swagger do as team but that is not shocking since I am a fan of there single game as well. Sheamus and Ryder click well for not teaming before that I can recall. That did a good job of building to the finish and progressing the story line of Ryder deserving a US Championship shot but being held back.

5) Bobby Roode Vs. James Storm
TNA World Championship Match
11/3/11 from Impact Wrestling
Sure it was sad to see Storm lose the title so quickly but we did want Roode to win. However they did it so wrong it is hard to agree with the decision to switch so quickly. Oh well we can go back in time and it doesn't take away from this very good match. Sure the ending could have been better to not take away from this match but we got what we got and that was still pretty fun to watch.

4) Bobby Roode Vs. AJ Styles
TNA World Championship Match
11/13/11 from Turning Point
Again we have another Roode title match that was the shining match of the night. Sure there wasn't much competition from Turning Point but still a hell of a match. The best thing about this match is I still think there is room to grow for the two and going into there 30 minute Iron Man match I think they will take it to the next level. It's hard to make a case for anyone else right now in TNA being a better in ring work then these two men. Which is saying something since Kurt Angle is in the company but with his bad wheel they have passed him for right now but they better continue to grow or Angle will reclaim best in TNA.

3) AJ Styles Vs. Christopher Daniels
11/10/11 from Impact Wrestling
There is just magic when these two face off in the ring. It could be that they faced off so many times or it could be they have a giant chip to prove there two of the best and hardly get enough credit. I just hope TNA stops messing around with these two and realize they need to be at the top and used to help the company and others grow in the business.

2) Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes
Street Fight Match
11/4/11 from Smackdown
We have two sides of the coin here. Orton is the man given everything from day one who I have been a fan of at times but only now do I think his reaching his full potential. Then you have Cody who has struggled at time do to management and is now getting the shot to make a mark. There feud was great and I hope they pick it up again down the road. I just look forward to see what is next for Cody and to see if Orton keeps making himself better.

1) CM Punk Vs. Dolph Ziggler
11/21/11 from Raw
All the great things they have done with Cody they are doing with Dolph as well. They really are the future of the WWE and I hope they realize that. Then you have the present with Punk who they finally gave the ball and his showing his the man or at least one of the men. He still can do so much more for the company and if there smart they will let him run with the ball and not get in his way.

Talking Smack 11/29/11 Live On Tuesday Edition

Last night we were treated to a special Holiday and Live Tuesday edition of Smackdown. yes it had a special feel but my feeling is that it wasn't as good as it could have been. I did have my likes but to me the show wasn't up to par of the hype during the show. Raw from the previous night to me was a much better show as a whole. Now I'll go match by match with my feelings.

Match #1 Mistletoe Match
It was what it was. A very shot divas match that was pointless. Really with no real prize for Brie Bella the winner and being all of about 50 seconds what was the point? Either give me a real match or nothing at all.

Match #2 Justin Gabriel Vs. Jinder Mahal
This match was used to get an easy win for Gabriel and to push the Mahal against Ted Dibiase feud. Yes it is nice that Gabriel got a victory and there pushing something with Dibiase but both were pointless like the divas match. Gabriel beating Mahal means nothing since the lack of attention on Mahal. Then you have building a feud that I think is a bad one around something stupid and just isn't the way to push Dibiase. Hopefully they find better opponents for both Gabriel and Dibiase in the near future.

Match #3 Kofi Kingston Vs. Tyson Kidd
I would have cared more if the match got more time or if they showed any interest at all in Kidd. I know he is small and doesn't jump off the screen with personality but he has more to offer then a jobber. Hopefully Kofi and Evan Bourne get back on track when Evan returns from suspension. Another pointless match but better then the first two.

Match #4 Miracle On 34th Street Match (Randy Orton Vs. David Otunga)
I like the name of the match and the using it to advance the feud between Orton and Wade Barrett but that is about it. The action was okay but nothing special and you knew that Orton was going to win not that I have a problem with him beating Otunga. I just think they could do more to develop the Otunga character.

Match #5 All I Want For Christmas Battle Royal
This continued the theme of the night of a pointless match with nothing coming from it. All I have to say is Hornswoggle won and you know that it was pointless. I guess if Hornswoggle continues to talk now it was worth it some what but even if he does who cares.

Match #6 Steel Cage Match for the World Championship (Mark Henry defends against Daniel Bryan)
The only match of the night to mean anything and by the best match of the night. Sure it wasn't the greatest wrestling match but it told a great story. They really got me to think that Bryan would win the championship and pulled it away just that quickly. I think it was a good way to do things and hopefully they continue the Bryan push that ends with him winning the World Championship at WrestleMania. Maybe I'm dreaming but I truly believe he will do it.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly #22 Raw 11/28/11 Edition

Is it just me or was last nights Raw one of the better Raw's in the past few months. I really enjoyed the show and it's hard to find faults with it but since I nit pick everything lately I'll talk bad about it just a little bit. Hopefully we are lucky enough that tonight's live Smackdown and Thursdays Impact are just as good. So lets jump into last nights show.

THE GOOD
Last start with what ended the show and that was the fantastic WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio.Sure it wasn't as good as there Survivor Series match but they had less time and it was on a free show so I wasn't expecting much going into the match. It was a great back and forth and I really think Punk brings out the best in Del Rio in the ring like Rey Mysterio did. I really wont complain if there is a third match at TLC but I will get back to this later with something that didn't sit well with me.
I also enjoyed the Randy Orton against Dolph Ziggler match. Sure it wasn't there best match between each other but it was a good match for Raw. It was a pleasant surprise to see Ziggler get the win no matter how it happen. I have said it before but again I really do think 2012 will be the year of Dolph. I also can no say how much I think Orton has come a long in the ring this year. He really is a go to guy for a great match now.
Finally I enjoyed both in ring talking segments. I thought the Piper's Pit was to slowly build to Cena finally snapping for not getting the credit he deserves. Or I could be wrong and they could keep him the same old Cena as normal. I also liked Daniel Bryan going off on Michael Cole. Bryan is at his best on the mic when he goes off on Cole. Hopefully they can start writing better for Bryan outside of going off on Cole.

THE BAD
To start off its not the biggest of deals but I wish Jack Swagger could get a better spot on the card. I know it was good Zack Ryder got a win but I feel bad a talent like Swagger is held back. I guess you could say there is not enough spots on the card for every mid card heel to be pushed as well as at least his on the show unlike Drew McIntyre.
I also was not a fan of the women's match but that is normal when Beth or Natalya isn't in it. I just wish they other divas would step up and show they can do it without the cream of the crop with them in there.

THE UGLY
Again both things here are also small and not a big deal but is just me picking at it to pick. First was the stipulation for the title match. It almost ruined the show for me because I was worried the whole time they would do something stupid to get the belt back on Del Rio and that would have been horrible. Not to say Del Rio was a horrible champ but they don't need to be taking it off him and putting it back on him. The other thing is the non re debut of Brodus Clay. I don't know if it is because they rewrite things so much or if they just don't care. I just find it odd they haven't showed a video in a few weeks or had Johnny call him and tell him it wasn't the right time yet. Hopefully he gets his shot soon and they stop putting it off.

Again Raw was fun to watch and if you have it on DVR watch the whole thing. Also before I go return all week long as I'll have something new up everyday. Tomorrow I'll have my Smackdown thoughts for the week.

Talking Smack 11/11/11 Edition

Today I will go with my super positive look back at Smackdown from Friday night and not dwell on the not so good. Before we get into that let me remind you to vote in the Ultimate Battle of the Wrestling Hotties. With the final four kicking off tomorrow. Also check out the interview Just A Show radio did with our own Dan Phelps. With that business out of the way lets look at what I really enjoyed from the latest edition of Friday Night Smackdown.

There were three things that I really liked and thought I would give my quick thoughts on this week. I'll work my way up to the thing that was hands down the best part of the night.

Hunico, Epico, and Primo
Now sure there is nothing special yet but I like the idea of these three running rough shot over the tag team division. I've always loved when they do the team of three and you never know who you will face. With enough build this can be your top heel tag team in a new and improved Tag Team Division.

Daniel Bryan stands up.
I liked how they when back to last weeks show to continue the stuff between Bryan and Mark Henry. The best part those was they made it were Bryan wasn't scared of Henry and wanted to prove he could hang with him. Which is what they have to do to make the most out of Bryan as a top talent or a talent period. Don't use him as your whipping boy for jokes use his skill to show the fans anyone can win any match against any person. There is a whole never give up story here with Bryan if they wanted to use it and kids would eat it up as would Internet fans because it would be you putting over "The Best In The World" in Daniel Bryan.

Sheamus Vs. Christian
Once again these two men put on a hell of a match and this time they stole the show. Nothing from Smackdown even comes close to how good this match was. It was by far the best thing on WWE television last week period. It would have blow everything in wrestling away if it wasn't for how good of a match AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels had on Impact but where here to talk Smack not making Impacts. If you didn't watch this match make sure to catch it in You Tube when ever WWE puts it up.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly #21 Talking Smack 11/4/11 Edition

This week In Talking Smack I will go to my favorite things to do and that is look at the good, the bad, and the ugly of the show. I will also end with my Fave Five for the week. Before I break down the show just let me say it was nice show with a great match but could have been better. Not one of there better performances in recent weeks but no were near as bad as most Raw's have been.

THE GOOD - Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes Street Fight
I just thought this was a great back and forth match that used the stipulation to make it a special feeling match for Smackdown. Both men are having great years when it comes to in ring work and Cody is also becoming one of the best promo men in the business. I really hope this feud continues but they put some momentum on Cody's side. If there not willing to do that then move on and find Orton's next victim he can shove back down the card.

THE BAD - The way Daniel Bryan was used.
Someone might say wait how can you say that he was in the Main Event finally? Which is a good point but when you are just filler for the Main Event it doesn't matter much. First off in the backstage segment when Henry challenged him they had him bullied into a match and instead of being like now I can show you who will be champ after Wrestle Mania he says "I guess I'll see you out there then." Really this is the best of lines you can come up with Vince? Then you had the match go to DQ because of Big Show. Another really that is the best you could do Vince? Either give Bryan a shot to prove he can be built to a top name with time but start now or cut him loose and let him go some where were I can watch what he does better then any man and that is wrestle.

THE UGLY - Randy Orton defeats Cody Rhodes in Street Fight
You can't make stars or have a great feuds if the same guy wins every match they have. There is no reason Orton can't lay down for Rhodes in a Street Fight to make Cody look strong and also make you question if Orton will win every match. If a wrestler can't lose no one will pay to see him and they wont take the chance to see him lose either. Just because Orton and John Cena are the top two names in the company doesn't mean they can't lose now and then in one on one matches. If you don't have them lose sometime you wont have anyone to replace them when there time in the company is done.

CLASSIC'S FAVE FAVE WRESTLERS
5) Jack Swagger - After his comedy bit with Ms.Piggy and Kermit makes me feel sorry for this great wrestler but hopefully they realize his strength is in the ring not comedy bits.
4) Sheamus - Falls down a spot because his biggest high light was losing to a Muppet energy drink. I know that isn't that big of a deal but I didn't get much from Raw this week so I'm a bit angry with everyone who took part with that show.
3) CM Punk - Up two spots from last week but with his getting his title match against Del Rio and not being a baby with Johnny gets him to nice spot for now.
2) Dolph Ziggler - Everything I said last week is true and is just a star in there verge of something huge for himself.
1) Cody Rhodes - Another great match and promo in the books and there is no one who can stop him from joining the Main Event picture.

Classic's 7 Best Matches Of October 2011

I have said this plenty of times this year already but once again another month of great wrestling with some tough choices on who would get into the top seven. Mostly Pay-Per-View matches made the list but there was two fantastic matches from Smackdown to crack the list and that is were we will begin.

7) Sin Cara Vs. Sin Cara
Mask Vs. Mask Match
October 21 2011 From Smackdown
Both men who have played the Sin Cara character has taken crap from people but I think both are solid to really good performers. They put on a show at Hell In A Cell and then took it up a notch when they filmed Smackdown in Mexico. They both brought there "A" game and now one is Sin Cara and the other is the unmasked Hunico. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of this feud and if they continue to step up then I'm all for it going long.

6) Randy Orton Vs. Dolph Ziggler
October 28 2011 From Smackdown
They had this match back in August on a Raw that also cracked the top 7 list. This one how ever I think was the better of the two and would have finished higher if not for so much stiff competition. I'll say it one more time this year. Randy Orton has really taken a huge leap forward in his in ring ability. I still don't like him but I don't think he is a waste of space anymore. Then you have Dolph who is slowly becoming one of my favorite all around performers. His future is so bright I don't see WWE even screwing it up.

5) Austin Aries Vs. Brian Kendrick
X-Division Championship Match
October 16 2011 From Bound For Glory
The top match from September falls to number 5 but the crazy thing is this was better then there first match. Which tells me that October was a better month for wrestling then September at least in my book. Not much to say but two great wrestlers who know how to put on a show.

4) AJ Styles Vs. Christopher Daniels
I Quit Match
October 16 2011 From Bound For Glory
One of the best matches of the year and on the way to be the best when the finish just took it all away. It just proves that you can over book anything to be not as good as it should have been if you didn't try to go over the top. There is not enough bad things you can say of how they messed up the finish and not enough good things to say about the build to the finish. No matter how much I hate the finish the rest of the match is defiantly worth watching.

Both matches were great which is clear since I have them 2 and 3. I think they really stepped up at Vengeance to give us a little something different then first go around. I thought the feud was over but I guess I was wrong so I hope the next time around we get a nice gimmick for the match. This could make its way on the Feud of the Year award list if they keep up the strong matches and interaction on Raw and Smackdown.

1) Alberto Del Rio Vs. John Cena Vs. CM Punk
WWE Championship Hell In A Cell Match
October 2 2011 From Hell In A Cell
No doubt in my head one of the best Hell In A Cell matches in a long time. Definitely used the triple threat to there advantage. You also have to love the ending when Del Rio locked out Cena from the cell. It was the best idea they had in a long time when it comes to booking a finish. I wasn't a fan of Del Rio winning the belt back but hopefully in time he loses it to Punk.

Yes I have already changed my weekly Smackdown thoughts to a different name because I randomly found another website with a weekly thing called Smack Talk. This week I'll give you the must watch moment of the show and the skip it moment. Also I'll end things with Classic's Fave Five wrestlers today in the WWE.

Must Watch - Randy Orton Vs. Dolph Ziggler
This match was fantastic and a can't miss match. Both men worked very hard to steal the show. Really Ziggler has been doing that on a regular basis the past few months. With Orton as much as I'm not a fan he really has shown me something since the summer and I'm becoming a big fan of his in ring work. I just wish he would step up his game in promos but I guess if his going to do one right I'm glad its the wrestling part. I don't see anything stopping Ziggler from being a main event guy by this time next year. Which would be a great thing because I think he deserves it.

Skip It - CM Punk Vs. Christian
Sure there is worse on the show this week but when you see these two guys in a match you expect gold and it was for from it. It seemed more like a match thrown on the show then a match they were trying to get people talking about. I know they have a better match in them and I really hope we get it in the near future. It just seemed like they wanted to get more heat between Punk and Alberto Del Rio and Christian and Sheamus then anything else. Which is fine by me but don't tease me with this match just to give me a second rate effort and I don't mean from the wrestlers I mean from the creative team.

Classic's Fave Five Wrestlers
5) CM Punk isn't as cool as he was in the summer but there is still something about him I love. He still has a bit of that take no shit personality so hopefully WWE doesn't make him full blown just another top baby face in the company and keeps some of what made him hot in the first place.
4) Awesome Truth of Miz and R-Truth are becoming a nice little tag team. I really wonder how long they will be a team but I hope for awhile because they and Air Boom could be the spark to save tag team wrestling in WWE.
3) Sheamus has really took the step to the next level with his face turn and it will be fun to see were his journey takes him in the long term.
2) Dolph Ziggler there isn't much more I can say that I haven't said already in this writing. His a true rising star right there with Rhodes.
1) Cody Rhodes comes in at number one this week because when he has a mic it is magical. He has really made the character his own and I see brighter things in his near future.

Vengeance Preview

With no podcast this week I'll go solo and preview the Vengeance pay-per-view with my predictions and expectations for the matches.

Match #1 - Sheamus Vs. Christian
These two will have a tough time topping there first match from Hell In A Cell but as hard as there two work there is a chance. Since Sheamus took the first meeting I'll take Christian in a rematch with more then likely a rubber match coming in November.
Prediction - Christian
Expectations - B

Match # 2 - Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes
I think this is the match that will steal the show. Both men are on a roll and I can't wait to see what they give us in the ring. I really wish that Cody gets the win here but I don't think that is going to happen.
Prediction - Randy Orton
Expectations - A-

Match # 3 - CM Punk & Triple H Vs. The Miz & R-Truth
I really have no high hopes for this match no matter how good it turns up. I just don't care to see Triple H wrestle right now unless its to put over other wrestlers. I see Triple H picking up the win here when really it should either be Truth or Miz pinning Triple H for the victory.
Prediction - CM Punk & Triple H
Expectations - C

Match #4 - Beth Phoenix Vs. Eve (Divas Championship Match)
Another match I don't have high hopes for but Eve does get better every week and if booked right should be much better then any Beth/Kelly Kelly match.

Match #5 - Air Boom Vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (World Tag Team Championship Match)
Another rematch on the show I'm very happy to see but again it will be hard to top there first effort. Hopefully they continue the build of Air Boom and makes some true tag team competition for them.
Prediction - Air Boom
Expectations - B+

Match #6 - Dolph Ziggler Vs. Zack Ryder (United States Championship Match)
Could be a huge night for Ziggler who is pulling double duty. I have plenty of faith he can have two solid matches and not disappoint us. As much as I would love to see Ryder when some gold I don't see that happening on this night.
Prediction - Dolph Ziggler
Expectations - B

Match #7 Mark Henry Vs. Big Show (World Championship Match)
They way they have had Henry play the bitch to Big Show I hope Henry destroys him but I see this feud going on for awhile so I doubt that will happen. I just hope for a clean win by Henry.

Expectations - C-

Match #8 - Alberto Del Rio Vs. John Cena (Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship)
All I have for this one is I hope Cena does not win the championship back. His had enough this year and you pretty much destroy Del Rio if he doesn't retain.

Classic On Bound For Glory

Today is a simple blog. I'll just be looking back at Bound For Glory from Sunday giving my quick thoughts on each match, how the Shooting From The Hip crew did predicting the show, and if the matches and show met my expectations going in.

Pre Show - Mexican America retain TNA World Tag Team Championships against Ink Inc.
I was the only one to pick Mexican America so chalk one up for me. Shaun and Dan big fat zeros next to there name on the score board. Didn't see the match so I don't know how good it was but I haven't heard anything bad about it but then again I didn't hear anything good either.

Austin Aries retains X-Division Championship over Brian Kendrick.
First off on the prediction end we all had Aries winning. I thought it was a really fun match and had some great action and would say it's better then there match from last month which is saying something since it was my match of the month in September. I thought the match would be around a A- quality bout and that is how I graded the match after seeing it.

Full Metal Mayhem won by Rob Van Dam beating Jerry Lynn.
Me and Shaun predicted this one right leaving Dan out in the cold. Another fun match to watch with great use of the weapons and a throw back to the late 90's when these two would tear the house down.My expectations going in was a B+ and that is the grade I gave the match.

Crimson wins the 3 Way Dance pinning Samoa Joe as Matt Morgan did what he does best and watched from a far.
Shaun piggy backed on this pick as well so because of my genius he got another one right with me. This was nothing special and just made you ask the question why do they hate Joe and love Crimson so much. I really hope they just let Joe go because they clearly have no direction for him. Also they need to end the streak because it's just a bunch of crap. Another match with my expectations met as it was a C- all around.

Falls Count Anywhere won by Mr. Anderson defeating Bully Ray
Sorry Dan another one you got wrong and me and Shaun got right. The word of the show is fun and this was another fun brawl for our enjoyment. You put Bully Ray in a match like this and you know you will enjoy it. At least I always do. I thought this was a solid B match and that is what I gave it. I'm on a pretty good run on predictions and the matches meeting my expectations.

Velvet Sky wins the Knockouts Championship in a Fatal 4 Way over Madison Rayne, Winter, and Mickie James with Special Guest Referee Karen Jarrett.
One more match picked right by me and Shaun. Not much to say but it was a four way between woman so usually that isn't a great start for something special. Match could have been better but I only expected a C match and they only fell to a C-.

I Quit Match won by AJ Styles over Christopher Daniels.
We all had AJ winning this one so good for us. This match was awesome from beginning to right before the words I Quit came out of Daniels mouth. The back and forth was great and they were taking there typical great match to the next level. Then AJ grab a screw driver that Daniels introduced earlier to the match and before AJ was a foot away Daniels grab the mic and yelled I Quit. Which is okay but there was so many better way they could have gone it stopped the match from being a instant classic. My grade for the match was a A- which is great but I expected a pure A performances but I give most of the blame for the slight decrease in grade to the booking not the wrestling.

Sting defeats Hulk Hogan in a No DQ Match giving control of TNA back to Dixie Carter.
Shaun stopped riding my coat tails and finally gets one wrong but Dan joins my band wagon for a winning prediction. Some how this match was better and even worse then I expected. I can't really explain that but I can tell you do not watch this match unless you want to ruin your childhood memories. It put a smile on my face after the match to see Hogan turn face and help Sting take out Immortal but it is to late for you to win me back Hogan. My love affair with Hulkamania is over. I expected worse so a D+ for a grade is good with me.

Kurt Angle retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship over Bobby Roode.
No one predicted this right which leaves the final tally at Dan 3 wins and 6 losses, Shaun 6 wins and 3 losses and me at 8 wins and 1 loss. Another good match messed up by terrible booking. Roode should have won but he didn't and then to make up for it they pull a BS finish with Roode's hand under the bottom rope and Angle holding on to the rope. Just one of those matches that one to make you give up hope on TNA but I haven't given in yet. I expected an A match here but was only treated to a B+ which is good enough if only they didn't book the finish like they did.

Over all I like the show as a whole but only felt it was a middle of the road pay-per-view compared to the show given to us this year from TNA and WWE. I was expecting a A- quality show for a show you build as the biggest show of the year but overall it wasn't there best effort and I would give it the grade of a C.

I fell in love with wrestling because of Hulk Hogan. Yes I loved everything else about wrestling as well but Hogan was the first thing to keep me glued to the screen. Fast forward 20 years and now he is the thing I hate most in wrestling. He has booked himself at 58 years old to face a 52 year old man in the main event of the biggest show of the year for TNA. He continues to put himself on television over younger and way more talented performers. In interviews he either doesn't talk about TNA, bury there best talent because they don't feet his mold for a star, or blames all the companies problems on any one but himself or Eric Bischoff. So what will I bitch about today you ask? That would be the interview he did talking about Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, James Storm and Jeff Hardy.

Hulk Hogan on Bobby Roode - “Nah, he’s not ready. He’s not the next guy. Ya’ know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He’s not the next guy. If I had to bet money on anybody and really be serious about betting money on anybody, I’d say Jeff Hardy is the next guy if he keeps his act together. Um, that’s what you gotta to have, man. This is much more than being a wrestler, this is crossing barriers, medias, ya’ know media barriers, and, and entertainment barriers of all kind. Getting your character down verbally has 90% to do with getting over. I just have a very strong feeling Kurt Angle’s going to clean his clock performance wise, and carry the match, and basically remains the champion."
Classics Take - So Roode is missing being a drug addict and a screw up because that is the only reason Jeff Hardy breaks the media barrier. Roode can out wrestle and out talk Jeff Hardy any day of the week. It just shows you the only thing Hogan thinks it takes to be a star is to have worked for WWE or with him in the past. Look at everyone he has ever been high on. Sting, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, and Mr. Anderson.
More Hogan on Roode - "So, I mean, Bobby Roode’s a tremendous athlete. I would change. I’d build him from Venice Beach, California or Omaha, Nebraska instead of, I dunno, Canada, eh’?
Classics Take - You can't be a star if you are not from America? Okay that makes tons of sense Brother. How can someone be more out of touch then Vince McMahon?
Hogan on AJ Styles - "It’s never too late. I mean, I just don’t know. I, when I first came in all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed a couple of years ago, I had a ton of suggestions which I was kind of pushing real hard, which I thought would take him to a crazy, crazy level, and nobody responded. So, I don’t know at this point. I have my ideas, but a lot of things that I believe in, and what I feel from the crowd, and what I know. The little I know about this business. Sometimes, it’s either taken and used, or used and it doesn’t work, or it’s not used at all. So, it’s just..it’s my opinion. I don’t know at this point."
Classics Take - Did Booker T answer that one for Hogan because I barely can understand what he is saying. How stupid can one man sound in a sentence. AJ is a star and would be a bigger one if you put him in a better spot on the show but you only use him as your work horse. If you think you need some big idea for AJ to be huge you are an idiot.

Hogan then talked about Hardy having the "IT" factor. Which usually is a nice way to say he can't wrestle that great and his not much of a talkier but people love him for some reason. Which is cool if you are good enough and you have the support of the fans you deserve a push but when you have ruined a Pay-Per-View main event in the past year how can you trust that guy to push. Jeff should only be used to sell merchandise and no more. He doesn't deserve a top spot in the company and if you think different Hogan that just prove you shouldn't have job in wrestling. Just do all us TNA fans a favor and leave tonight after your match with Sting and never come back.

Smack Talk 10/14/11 Edition

Hope everyone had a wonderful week and welcome back to all. Smack Talk is my new weekly look at the week's edition of Smackdown. I wont go over everything on each episode just hit up the main things I liked, disliked, and maybe some thought on possible story lines or current story lines direction. Now lets jump into the first edition of Smack Talk.

To kickoff the show they already had me rolling my eyes with the appearance of John Laurinaitis. It's bad enough I have to see him every week on Raw but Smackdown as well. He brings nothing to the table besides being the evil force in WWE right now and I don't think he should be in that role anyways. They have plenty of people working for the company who has way better mic skills then him who could be the evil boss. Seriously who sees him walk out or come on screen and says "Oh sweet Johnny Ace is on". Then they give us a 41 Man Battle Royal with the winner getting the title shot of his choice on the show. Now come on 41 men in the ring at once is way to many bodies to do anything entertaining. When you do a battle royal stick to 20 maybe 25 at most. Also why have a guy who could get a World Championship shot anytime win. Mix things up and give us a main event we haven't seen before or in a long time. Really those are my only complaints on the show so I would have to say a good job by the blue brand.

What I really like on this weeks show was the building of feuds they have going on. First you had Christian screw things up for Sheamus in the battle royal and then in his match with Alberto Del Rio. Which I think took there feud to the next level and made it seem like Christian could out smart Sheamus and has a chance to take the feud. The next feud they helped was the Sin Cara/Sin Cara feud. The attack and stealing of the mask by the evil Cara was a nice little advancement in the battle. They really need to handle this feud with care and not go to far to fast so everyone can really get into it. The final feud they helped was the Orton and Cody Rhodes feud. They really have a chance to make Cody a star if they don't have Orton bury him and right now there doing a fine job but I'm still scared at some point they will have Orton bitch out Rhodes. I just hope to see a clean pin fall win for Cody at some point in his show down with the viper.

I forgot to mention in the opening I will also give my Smackdown Fave Five for the week.
5) B Squad - What a night for the guys who normally make Raw or Smackdown. They all got to be part of the biggest and lamest battle royals in history. Maybe next week they can pull out a song and dance for us.
4) Beth Phoenix & Natalya - Two really hot woman who can go like no other in the ring in WWE.
3) Dolph Ziggler - Love his work with Swagger as of late and I really think he is gearing up to do damage in 2012.
2) Josh Mathews - Yes I know he isn't the best announcer but with having to sit between Cole and Booker and keep the attention on the in ring action is a mighty choir and he does a pretty good job.
1) Cody Rhodes - His been one of my favorite for awhile now and I see him breaking out as a true star right now.

Bound For Failure, Desire For Glory Part 5 It Pays To Be Roode

Welcome back everyone as we have reached the finally week of my journey at looking at how TNA could grow and improve as a company. We have already learned that some of my ideas wont happen anytime soon with the resigning of Hulk Hogan but him being there doesn't mean they can't do other things I suggested. The last part of my five part series is short and sweet. Just a handful of things I want to see at Bound For Glory to show me they care or at least trick me in thinking they give a damn about there future.

Show me that you know what you have in Samoa Joe and have him win the Three Way against Matt Morgan and Crimson. Also Crimson is the man he should beat. Really it should be an elimination with Crimson getting his by pinning Morgan and Joe standing strong at the final bell. If you don't plan on Joe going over then use him and let him go so he can find a company that knows how great of a talent he is.

Before I get to the TNA World Championship match lets talk about what will be the final match of the show and by the way another thing that would show you cared is by having the title match main event the show. The battle of the retirement home between Hogan and Sting will probably be a huge disappointment but there is always a chance magic comes through one more time for these two legends. The main thing I want to see besides this going on before the title match is that Sting wins and Hogan is no longer in charge. Really I could care less who wins but I'm just so tired of evil Hogan running things I'm ready for a change. Plus even thou it does nothing for Stings career it would be nice for Hogan to lay down for someone.

Finally to the most import thing that should happen at Bound For Glory is that Robert or Bobby what ever he goes by now beats Kurt Angle for the World championship. Roode is the future and what better time to start the future then now. It's time for TNA to forget about there past filled of screw ups and missed opportunities and forge a future of high quality wrestling programming that puts butts in the seats either in the arena or at home watching on television.

I told you at the beginning it would be short and sweet. I just thank everyone who have read any of my stuff over the past few weeks and if you have any advise on how I could improve as a writer any advise will be welcomed.

Bound For Failure, Desire For Glory Part 4 Where Wrestling Matters

Over the past few weeks I have been throwing out ideas on how TNA can improve and make there mark on wrestling. I have already talked about who TNA should cut ties with and who they should push. Last week I talked about how they could improve there booking style and for part 4 I will talk about what things they could do to set them apart from WWE and try and get some of the wrestling spot light. All the things I bring up this week are things that WWE seem to put in the back because they focus on the guys in the main event and on the entertainment side of the wrestling business more then the other parts of the show. Hope someone in Nashville is reading so lets jump into things.

Women's Wrestling
The Knockouts division got started with a bang and was a major part of TNA getting people talking about there company a few years back. Since then thou things have died down and it seems like there just role players and these women should be much more then role players. The Knockouts division as a whole is still better then the Divas division and outside of Beth Phoenix and Natalya I don't think there is one Diva that is better then a Knockout in the ring. So when you have a positive use it. Push your women and more then just the feud for the title. Give them more time in the ring and let the world know how there division can go and aren't just eye candy. There is a fan base who wants to see good women's wrestling week in and week out and it is time to give it to us.

X-Division
Yes there is no X-Division in WWE but when you break it down the X-Division is a cruiser weight division. Again I know WWE doesn't have that division either but they have plenty of guys who fit the bill. Yet those wrestlers are barely pushed and is used more for a move then there whole worth. So far TNA has done a good job of bringing back the X-Division since Destination X but they need to remember that it should always have a major part of Impact Wrestling and there Pay-Per-Views. I have said it before and I'll say it again the X-Division is the heart and soul of TNA and need to be used properly to get were TNA could go in the future.

Tag Team Wrestling
Yes both tag team division lack the most important thing to a division and that is tag teams but TNA is off to a solid start. They have Mexican America who are coming along as a tag team and could be a nice piece to the division, Then you have Ink Inc. who are a good tag team and was getting better every week until Jesse Neal got side lined do to injury. As much as I think both teams are growing they need more and that one tag team that you call the best and as long as Beer Money is doing there own thing and the Motor City Machine Guns are not healthy you don't have your premier tag team. I think that tag team is the British Invasion but they need to be on television to get there. Also they need to sign or form 3 to 5 more tag teams to show tag wrestling matters. We all know TNA can do better when it comes to tag team wrestling and it is time to show us again.

Wrestling Over Sports Entertainment
Basically these are the same thing but to me they are different. When I hear sports entertainment I think bells and whistles and all the other stuff outside of the ring. That is why TNA should focus on putting on the best in ring product they can because we all know there is no way they can out E the WWE. I'm not saying they can be more entertaining I'm just saying they can out do them in the other stuff besides wrestling. When you break it down wrestling is what wrestling fans want so just give us the best in ring product and no silly or stupid story lines and you will grow as a company.

Own Up To Your Mistakes
This last thing is a bit odd but I think would do a lot to bring people back who tried TNA and left because it wasn't for them. Just start putting out there what you tried was wrong and everyone makes mistakes but it is time to do what we do best and that is wrestle. It would be nice to hear a wrestling company own up and say hey what we did there was stupid and lame and now we want to make it up to you. I'm pretty sure as simple as that is many of you would like to hear it and would be willing to give TNA another chance if you have already given up or was about to.

We are a few days into the month of October and we have already seen a great Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View and the follow up Raw which was pretty lack luster but today I look back at September and go over my matches of the month. Also everyone don't forget to vote in round one of the Ultimate Battle Of The Wrestling Hotties before Tuesday at Noon eastern.

7) Cody Rhodes Vs. Ted Dibiase
Intercontinental Championship Match
September 18 2011 from Night Of Champions
This match was the battle of the guys who were suppose to be two rising stars a year and a half ago. Since then they both have had rough patches but it only seems as Cody has gotten on track. I hope at some point Ted does as well because he could be a solid hand for the company in the future.
6) Randy Orton Vs. Christiam
September 30 2011 from Smackdown
I couldn't tell which match this was between these two in there war but I can say it wasn't there best match but it also was no were near there worst effort either. They find a match that WWE can always goes to when they need something fun to give the fans that will deliver every time.
5) Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes
September 9 2011 from Smackdown
These two men had 3 battles in the month and this was the first and I think over all the better wrestling match. Now the thrid encounter may have been more memorable with the beating Cody took but this was the match to watch for wrestling. I think it showed us that Cody is well on his way to becoming a main event star and being a very important piece to the WWE puzzle.
4) Bobby Roode Vs. Bully Ray
Bound For Glory Series Finals
September 11 2011 from No Surrender
To me this represents the coming out party for both these men as top singles names for TNA over the next few years. Both are strong on the mic and in the ring and have shown that they deserve top spots in the company. Hopefully by the end of the year or at the beginning of next we see this match main event a Pay-Per-View for the World Championship.
3) Bobby Roode Vs. AJ Styles
September 29 2011 from Impact Wrestling
This match proved two things to me. One AJ is still the best in ring performer today and two Roode can go with the best. The second thing was very important with his upcoming title match against Kurt Angle. I truly believe that will also be a great match and that Roode can run with the ball if they give him the championship.
2) Kurt Angle Vs. James Storm
September 22 2011 from Impact Wrestling
I really did not expect what they gave us which was a fun and entertaining match. I knew Storm was a very good worker but to look as good as he did was a bit shocking and I don't think he was carried to this match by Angle. I think Storm proved a lot and showed that Roode isn't the only Beer Money member who is ready for the singles spotlight.

The X-Division holds a special place in my heart and when done right you will be treated to a great show. These two men went all out to prove that there division is still the heart and soul of TNA. They went all out but left enough on the table that could make there rematch even better. I don't think either guy gets enough credit for how good they are in the ring or how great there characters are but hopefully this match helped put them in front of peoples minds as two talented guys who will do what it takes to entertain the wrestling world.
